DRYLAND TECHNICAL SKILLS MODEL – DTM by Dr. Ludek Bukac Sr. & Jr.
Technical skills and game movements are subject to genetic endowment, physical constitution, and training. While the heart, lungs, and energy feed the muscles and the skeleton provides the levers which the muscles use to play, the neuromuscular system does the work. So training which improves neuromuscular game-like activity is a primary object to improving the technical skills. The main dryland training methods and means are the exercises improving strength, speed, agility etc. in game-like conditions. The concept of dryland training is designed as Dryland Technical Skills Model, i.e. DTM.
